Anise Scented Goldenrod SEEDS (solidago odora), sweet goldenrod

Seeds. Sweet Goldenrod, or anise scented Goldenrod (solidago odora), flowers yellow feathery plumes in September. Perennial to Zone 4 to 9. The leaves and flowers have a pleasant anise smell to them. Medicinal uses. Makes a nice tea. The plants will spread out some each year. Plant the seed outdoors in the fall or start indoors in pots by pressing the seed onto moist soil and keeping moist and in light until germination which is approximately 2 to 3 weeks. Seeds will benefit from a cold spell of 2-3 months if having trouble germinating. Space plants 1 1/2 to 2 feet apart. They like sun. 40 seeds per pkt.
