Zig-zag goldenrod is a native perennial of much of the United States, including the Midwest. Spread seeds in the fall or winter for germination and growth in the spring. It is a favorite of bees and butterflies. Watch the busy fuzzy bumble bees fall in love with this flower. It will return every year to bring a pop of color to your garden in late summer to early fall. This type of goldenrod will tolerate some shade and grows 2 feet tall.
